Crowns

Crowns

Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of a material like porcelain, placed on the top of a tooth. Crowns are typically used to restore a tooth’s function and appearance following a restorative procedure such as a root canal. When decay in a tooth has become so advanced that large portions of the tooth must be removed, crowns are often used to restore the tooth.

Whitening

Whitening

Whitening procedures have effectively restored the smile of people with stained, dull or discolored teeth. The darker tissue of your teeth, the dentin, can become exposed as the outer layer of enamel is worn away by the effects of aging. Food particles are naturally attracted to a tooth’s enamel by a certain protein. Products like coffee, tea, berries and red wine are notorious for staining teeth.

Implants

Implants

Before development of dental implants, dentures and bridges were the only alternative to replacing a missing tooth or teeth. Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.Implants are anchored to the jawbone and the act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures.

Veneers

Veneers

Teeth that are badly stained, shaped or crooked may be improved by a veneer placed on the surface of the affected teeth. Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain cemented over the front of your teeth to change their color or shape. Veneers are used on teeth with uneven surfaces or are chipped, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced or crooked.

Sealants

Sealants

Surfaces of your teeth, toothbrushes bristles cannot always reach all the food matter that finds its way into the grooves and uneven surfaces of teeth. Sealants can be applied as a preventive measure to smooth over rough to keep plaque from collecting, Sealants are typically made of a plastic resin which safely and quickly adheres to the teeth with proper care can last many years.

Today there is a variety of natural looking and comfortable dentures for patients who need to replace missing teeth. Pediatric

Pediatric

Preventive dentistry is especially important for children. Instilling excellent oral hygiene practices and a good diet at an early age will better prepare your child for a lifetime of dental health. According to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), children should visit the dentist by their first birthday. It is important our child’s newly-erupted at 6-16 months.

Bridges

Bridges

Today dental bridges are still considered one of the most durable, conservative and cost-effective options for bridging the gap between a missing tooth and surrounding teeth. Bridges can be made of metal, porcelain or porcelain alone.Comprised of two or more anchoring teeth and a replacement tooth, dental bridges help prevent surrounding teeth from drifting out of position.

Procedure

Procedure

A tooth must usually be reduced in size to accommodate a crown. An impression is made.
The impression is sent to a special lab which manufactures a custom-designed crown.
A temporary crown is placed until the permanent crown is ready. Caring For Your Crowns: With proper care, a good quality crown could last up to eight years or longer.

we made them all happy

  • virtually everyone wants a good doctor and is not only a great practitioner of dentistry, what truly stands out for me is her of good human traits being. from my first contract back in 2011, when the informative staff issued initial dental paperwork; too friendly courteous dental assistants, she and team as a whole exceeded all of my expectations. As a valued customer, l found each and every procedure: from on time appointments to emergencies, was dealt with in a family orientated atmosphere. Many dental offices have a habit of inflicting unnecessary applications for a financial gain; here its questions asked of us together, "What do we think going forward?" No pressure. Trust me.
